Born and raised in Freeport, Illinois, Tonya was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and compassion. From an early age, her nurturing spirit shone brightly—always putting others first and making everyone around her feel valued and loved. Her radiant smile and generous heart were gifts she shared freely, touching the lives of family, friends, and the wider Freeport community.
Tonya’s devotion to her family was unmatched. As a proud and loving mother, she guided her children with strength, wisdom, and unwavering love. Her children were the center of her world, and the life lessons she imparted—of kindness, integrity, and compassion—will live on through them.
Her caring nature extended beyond her immediate family. Whether volunteering with local charities, offering a shoulder to a friend, or simply sharing a heartfelt laugh, Tonya had an extraordinary ability to brighten the lives of those around her.

A Celebration of Life
As we mourn Tonya’s passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene in Freeport. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, honoring Tonya’s memory and the light she brought into the world.
